How can I find expert SEO writers like those you’d find on SearchEngineLand or similar sites?
I have tried to put out casting calls, job postings on some of the most well-known online sources, but most of the responses I get are from people who do link building and optimization of web pages OR writers who have experience with simply placing keywords in content. What I need is a writer(s) who is able to professionally and expertly write about all types of Internet marketing. These articles will be linked to our SEO site and we need to have people who know what they’re talking about when it comes to trends in Internet marketing and SEO, plus everything and anything that comes along with it.
Examples would be writers who contribute to SEOmoz.com, Mashable.com, SearchEngineLand.com, SearchEngineJournal.com, etc.
PLEASE help. I keep running into brick walls and could really use some advice.

The first thing to consider when you want to hire a web writer is how much help you need. If you are pretty familiar with all of the SEO strategies and you just need the writing done you could probably go with a less experienced writer. The quality of the text won’t be the highest but for your purposes it could work well. You will have to tweak and correct it but lower quality saves you a bit of money when you are already a wiz at SEO.
If you are not an expert and you need help with the whole concept of promoting your website you should turn to a writer that understands SEO very well. Look for the SEO firms that offer complete packages for promotion of web site and get advice for your particular site and keyword.
